Popped in for a quick lunch with our dogs. We had avocado mash/poached egg/bacon on seedy bread, which was freshly prepared and tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive. They made fuss of our dogs and offered them dog biscuits. It was a very warm day, so they also brought a bowl of water and even moved a fan closer to us so that our dogs (and we) could cool down quickly. The place looked immaculately decorated. We liked the calm and relaxing atmosphere; different shades of green in the interior design have a good calming effect, together with easy-listening music played quietly in the background instead of loud pop music. We will be back soon, no doubt.

Found this simply gem of a cafe serving quality homemade food. What's more they specialise in Gluten Free as well as regular food. Huge plus for me. The owners and staff made me feel very welcome always with a smile and cheery greeting, explaining how they felt GF food was sadly missing in the area. My friend and I are just about to share GF waffles with Banana and bacon ( don't knock it just try ). They are just next to the Drakes Drum in Radford Park Road

I took my Daughter here for some lunch today and immediately upon arrival we knew we would like the place, it was clean, comfortable and friendly looking. We were greeted upon entry and the staff were very attentive and friendly throughout. I had jacket potato with tuna and cheese, it was cooked perfectly and was so delicious. My daughter had scrambled egg on toast and she said it was "amazing!". It was great to see a separate cooking and preparation area for the gluten free options, as in the past I have had to have a gluten free diet and can appreciate how difficult it is to find places that cater for it, but this place definitely seemed like a safe option for that! We will be returning to try out the deserts next!

Had a lovely lunch at The Hideaway Kitchen today. Delicious chicken, mango melt panini followed by cheesecake. I am no stranger to the cafe, have been several times now and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It is beautifully decorated, friendly staff and also lovely customers. Has a real community feel about the place. I will definitely be back soon.

We visited the Hideaway Kitchen for the first time recently and what a lovely little gem it is! ⭐ The staff were friendly and welcoming, the cafe was extremely clean and the service was very quick even though there was a large group of ladies meeting for coffee and cake. I love the little touches that had been thought of considering there’s a lot to think of when opening a new establishment. My partner ordered a panini which he said was really delicious, it was presented really nicely. I had a slice of the chocolate fudge cake with double cream which was amazing! The coffee was very nice and the complimentary biscuit on the side was a lovely little added touch. We look forward to visiting again and if you haven’t visited I would highly recommend you give them a visit.
